Cakes

We try to keep a variety of 8” cakes available in our display cases for immediate purchase, but we highly recommend placing cake orders in advance. All of the flavors in our menu are available in sizes ranging from 6” rounds to full sheet cakes, with various decoration packages available for an additional fee—click here for examples. Please contact us to discuss your cake ideas and options!

Remember that buttercream-covered cakes should be enjoyed at room temperature–so please store them in the refrigerator, but remove them at least 1 to 2 hours before serving to allow the buttercream to soften.

COOKIES & CREAM – chocolate cake filled and frosted with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and chocolate cookie crumble

GERMAN CHOCOLATE – chocolate cake layered with a rich coconut-pecan filling and frosted with Belgian chocolate ganache

RED VELVET – our moist red velvet cake filled and frosted with cream cheese frosting

HAZELNUT – vanilla crème fraîche cake filled and frosted with hazelnut Swiss meringue buttercream and hazelnut praline, topped with a bittersweet chocolate glaze

RASPBERRY LEMON – vanilla crème fraîche cake layered with raspberry Swiss meringue buttercream and lemon curd filling, covered with raspberry buttercream and topped with a raspberry glaze

COCONUT CLOUD – vanilla crème fraîche cake layered with coconut pastry cream and covered in marshmallow frosting and shredded coconut

DULCE DE LECHE – vanilla crème fraîche cake filled and frosted with a light caramel Swiss meringue buttercream and toasted sliced almonds

CARROT CAKE – spiced organic carrot cake with pecans, layered and covered with cream cheese frosting

SALTED CARAMEL – chocolate cake layered with salted caramel and frosted with Belgian chocolate ganache

PEANUT BUTTER – chocolate cake filled and frosted with peanut butter Swiss meringue buttercream and topped with a bittersweet chocolate glaze

PISTACHIO PRALINE – vanilla crème fraîche cake filled and frosted with pistachio Swiss meringue buttercream topped and sprinkled with pistachio praline

MOCHA LATTE – chocolate cake filled and frosted with coffee Swiss meringue buttercream and topped with a bittersweet chocolate glaze

CHOCOLATE MALT – chocolate cake layered and frosted with malted milk buttercream and crushed chocolate-covered malt balls, topped with malt balls

LIZ LEMON – vanilla crème fraîche cake layered with organic lemon curd and frosted with our marshmallow frosting

LILIKO’I (PASSION FRUIT) – vanilla crème fraîche cake layered with passion fruit curd and frosted with white chocolate ganache

BROOKLYN BLACKOUT – chocolate cake layered with chocolate pudding and frosted with Belgian chocolate ganache and chocolate cake crumbs


Deluxe

BANANAS FOSTER – banana cake layered with cinnamon rum Swiss meringue buttercream and walnuts, lightly drizzled with caramel

BLACK FOREST – chocolate cake layered with kirsch brandy-marinated Morello cherries and crème légère, frosted with dark Belgian chocolate ganache

CAKE SUZETTE – vanilla crème fraîche cake layered with orange curd and sliced almonds and frosted with a Grand Marnier and orange zest Swiss meringue buttercream

MOTT STREET CANNOLI CREAM – vanilla crème cake layered and frosted with our cannoli cream filling (made with ricotta & mascarpone cheeses and a touch of orange zest and rum) and sprinkled with semisweet chocolate chips

RED VELVET with BOURBON BUTTERCREAM – red velvet cake with a rich bourbon buttercream

STRAWBERRY FIELDS (Seasonal) – vanilla crème fraîche cake filled and frosted with strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream and fresh organic strawberries

Deluxe cake flavors require 48 hours advance notice.  All of our cakes are three-layer cakes. An inscription on your cake is always free—a variety of decoration packages are also available for an additional fee. Delivery in Manhattan starts at $25; please call for delivery rates outside Manhattan.
